Mary Pat Strasser Leaves Rumor’s after 9 years
to become the first female bartender at The Palm!



If you have ever hung out in midtown and refer to
the local bars as the page, porters, & the hatter;
then odds are that at some point or another you have
been to Mary Pat’s bar in Rumor’s.

Many a weekend reveler have been known to seek out
this never timid bartender who gets right in there with the boys
to get you your cocktails and get them to you fast!
Usually positioned by the front window, Mary Pat was known
for catching a glimpse of her regulars out of the corner of her eye
as they approached the entrance…often with a full bar… & before they
even got to her…the drinks were ready! Wow! Impressive!

Well, apparently Mary Pat got the attention of one of the most
prestigious restaurants in town…enough so that she is the first
female bartender hired :) Congrats MP! The pace may not be
as grueling as the mania that is midtown; but after 9 years of slinging
shooters at Rumor’s, who can blame you for slowin’ down…

Martini anyone?
