What's Up VIP had the privilege of spending a couple of days
in Manhattan with The Little Memphis Blues Orchestra and
Mr.Taylor Hicks. Taylor brought The Little Memphis Blues
Orchestra to New York City to be his band once again for a
very private performance at The Marriott Marquis.
With two days and incredible accommodations right smack in the
middle of Times Square, these guys were poised to kick back
& have fun! After the whirlwind of their lead singer
winning Season 5 of American Idol and their own summer tour,
LiMBO was ready to spend some quality time with their old buddy,
Taylor, in New York City!

Night 1

What’s Up VIP joined them Tuesday night as they enjoyed some
R & R time shooting pool in the beautiful Grammercy Park Hotel.
The atmosphere was relaxed and reminiscent; like they never
missed a beat…forget that the room was full of gorgeous
rock stars…you would have never known…Now that they have
had a chance to breathe after a long, hectic summer…you could
tell they were excited to see one another…to revel in an amazing
success story…to talk about the future…to just hang out…
to be friends……and that’s just what they did…

Night 2

After a day of hanging out in the big apple and sound checks
approved by Jay the Soundguy… it was Show Time!
They invited What’s Up VIP backstage where we ran into
Sam munching on cookies and milk and Zippy beating a poor chair
cushion to death with his drumsticks. What can we say…
that’s how drummers prepare :-) They let us snap a few pics
of the guys hanging out and Taylor even jumped in a few!
They went right after Mitch…trying to get him
to smile…it worked!

the show was unbelievable!
